Please remember, it is the irrigators responsibility to look for their water if they are'nt receiving it on schedule and to discuss it with their neighbor if they're taking it during your time.

Next irrigation is August 30th.

Must be signed up by Wednesday before irrigation starts and schedule will be posted at the sign up board on the NW corner of 39th and Topeka on Friday.

It is also posted on the website.

 

 

 

                                   If you were charged for irrigation between 3/8 and 3/11, please deduct that amount from your balance. This irrigation was cancelled due to rain.

You should have receive your statement. If there is a (-) in front of the balance (total on far right column), then you have a credit of that amount, If there is not a (-) then that is the amount you owe. 

 

 

 

Attention All WMID District Members

 

During the 2009 June general meeting we had a full house of district irrigators that attended. Those that attended requested changes in irrigation scheduling.

 

One change is that during the summer months that irrigation scheduling is not adjusted for holidays. It will be scheduled every 2 weeks and the only adjustment will be if holiday falls on Monday, then the irrigation will start on Tuesday. If you are going to be gone for a holiday, be sure not to be signed up for irrigation or to have someone be there to take your scheduled irrigation.

 

The other change is concerning the cancellation of irrigation due to rain. The protocol was that if we received an inch of rain, then we would cancel the irrigation.  The opinion from the irrigators was to cancel only if we accumulated 1.5 inches of rain instead of 1 inch as previously done (this is also during the summer).

The board voted to make this change with a 'wait and see' perspective. 

 

Also, the board is working on improving the website to make it more user friendly and a better communication tool for the district members.  We encourage everyone to visit the website and sign up to be a user.  You can sign up for irrigation, cancel, change, or just view the times of irrigation.  Our website is:

If you choose to be put on auto sign up on the board, please print and fill out the auto sign up agreement off the website and send to the office. Continue signing up at the board manually until your name and time are in red on the sign up sheet.

IF YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN OFF OF AUTO SIGNUP, YOU MUST SEND A NOTE TO THE OFFICE STATING THIS. IF YOU ARE ALSO AUTOMATICALLY SIGNED UP ON THIS WEBPAGE YOU MUST TAKE YOURSELF OFF TO DISCONTINUE YOUR AUTO SIGN UP.

 

 

IRRIGATION IS TO BE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE. GETTING BEHIND ON PAYMENTS WILL LEAD TO BEING CUT OFF, WITHOUT NOTIFICATION. ALSO, THE MAILBOX UNDER THE SIGN UP BOARD IS NOT FOR PAYMENTS.  PAYMENTS MUST BE MAILED TO:

OUR IRRIGATION WELLSITE HAS BEEN VANDALIZED TWICE, ONCE IN BROAD DAYLIGHT BY MEN IN ORANGE JUMP SUITS POSING AS SERVICE WORKERS.  PLEASE BE VIGILANT AND REPORT ANY ACTIVITY AT OUR WELLSITE.  THEY TOOK THE COPPER WIRING TO THE PUMP.  THE WELL SITE IS LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF 35TH AVE AND YORKSHIRE.
